Vendors
There are so many wonderful options to explore when choosing your wedding vendors – it can be quite overwhelming! Here are a few vendors I have worked with at various events, met at wedding expos, or heard about through a trusted word-of-mouth recommendation. Some I mention simply because their work has piqued my interest due to its unique nature.
I endorse these vendors based solely on the “pay it forward” mantra. I’ve received no financial compensation or in-kind swap of services for mentioning them here.
An Evanston staple for beautiful, unique arrangements. They also sell unique flowers and greenery by the stem if you’re so inclined to put together an arrangement yourself.
Women’s Club of Evanston – Cocktails on the main floor; ballroom with a stage and sun porch on the second floor
Salvage One – Host your event, buy an antique! Truly eclectic space; no two dining tables are the same!
Baker and Hobbs – 5 Star Yum! Cindy Negard’s business, based in Evanston, produces beautiful and scrumptious treats, including miniature macarons and individual desserts.
Bent Fork Bakery – Highwood, Illinois. Don’t let the small space fool you; this place is packed with goodies, treats, and cakes.
Florist and Hound. Barrington, Illinois. Her arrangements at the 2019 West Loop Wedding Walk featured grapefruits, oranges, and seeded pomegranates – gorgeous!
Maison Blanche Lettering - Christen Whitehouse is a talented sole proprietor who offers beautiful and unique calligraphy for place-cards, menus, signage and more. And she paints!
Candlelite – Located on the Chicago/Evanston border. Great place for a casual, laid back rehearsal dinner or event. Good thin crust pizza and a huge selection of libations at the bar.
