the cost of peace of mind:
Oh, how quickly an initial wedding budget can grow! A beautiful and memorable wedding, however, doesn’t have to break the bank! When you review my rates, please consider the “expense” of worry and stress I can take off your plate, and what that’s worth to you and your family and friends.
My rates are competitive, yet cost conscience, and I’m willing to work with you to develop a budget that makes everyone happy.
I operate on an hourly fee schedule as follows:
Travel time (outside Evanston and immediate Chicagoland area): $25/hour, plus tolls and parking fees (if applicable)
Administrative time $50/hour. Includes emails with clients and vendors, creation of task list(s) and timeline(s). (Typically billed at 2 hours for each event, unless admin tasks require more attention.)
On-site presence $70/hour. Typically includes attendance at a one-hour reception venue walkthrough with vendors prior to the event date, presence at the ceremony rehearsal, and on-site presence at the reception venue. My start time typically coincides with the arrival of your first vendor, and my departure concludes after supervision of vendor breakdown and load out occurs. If you’re on top of any end-of-evening tasks, I can head out after the dance floor opens, too!
After an initial phone introduction or in-person meeting, I will create a fee proposal which I will submit for your review. This will include my best estimate of the time I will devote to your event.* If this proposal is accepted, it will thereafter be memorialized in a formal contract. Once that’s signed and I receive a $200 non-refundable deposit, you’re on my calendar!
*Please note that should the amount of hours expended either on administrative tasks or on-site presence increase, the initial fee proposal may be amended, per mutual agreement.
Odds &Ends
Don’t need the services of a full coordinator or “day of” coordinator? Here are just a few examples of what I can do on an “as needed basis” to make your life less stressful:
Wrap gifts for attendants
Help at rehearsal dinner or post-event brunch
Pick up/return items
Run errands the week before the wedding, the day before, day of, or day after
Ensure the florist is on time, floral arrangements are in the correct locations at both the ceremony and reception sites, and arrangements have been made for retrieval or disposal at the end of the event.
Set up special displays (pictures, escort card tables, gift tables, etc.)
These services will be billed on an hourly basis.
